Abbey Theatre

Save To : My Itinerary

Established in 1904, the Abbey Theatre is Ireland’s national theatre. Located in the
heart of Dublin city centre, the Abbey Theatre has contributed some of the world’s
greatest theatrical works from writers such as Sean O’Casey to Brian Friel. The historical
and prestigious ambiance of the theatre makes this an ideal venue for hosting award
ceremonies, champagne receptions, launches, seminars and conferences. Our two
auditoria (Abbey and Peacock 492/128 capacity), have been specifically designed for
acoustics and intimacy. Each has steep raked seating- offering an excellent view of
the stage. We have top of the range lighting and sound equipment engineered by the
industry’s best technicians. Each space has its own fully operational lounge/coffee bar
facilities. The dedication and standard of our events team has won praise on every
occasion. We would be delighted to work with you to tailor any event to your needs.
