Access by Ferry

Even though Ireland is an island, access is easy by air or sea. Passengers arriving in Dublin have a choice of two disembarkation points, depending on which ferry company they use, Dublin Port & Dún Laoghaire Harbour.

Dublin Port is very centrally located, only minutes from Dublin city centre. It is Ireland’s busiest passenger Ferryport with up to 18 sailings daily to the UK and the continent.
Visit www.dublinport.ie for more information.

Dún Laoghaire Harbour is located 7 miles south of Dublin city and 16 miles from Dublin Airport. Dún Laoghaire is serviced by the DART (Suburban Rail) which can take you to and from the City Centre in less than half an hour. Dún Laoghaire is also serviced regularly by Dublin Bus. There are excellent ferry connections daily from the UK and mainland Europe.
